Mouse Double-Clicking

I have the Razer DeathAdder V2. When I click my left mouse button, one-third of the time it is registered as a double-click. Bushing buttons, firing weapons and doing most non-game-related tasks are either impossible or irritatingly difficult. I am hoping that the answer isn't:
  • Take the mouse apart and clean/repair it.
  • Get a new mouse.
If I have to get a new mouse, it will assuredly not be from Razer. Though, I'm hopeful I won't have to.

    Same issue with a Trinity that I bought to replace a Naga with the same issue. Side note: I'm trying to highlight that line above so that I can copy/paste it into every thread with this issue, but I can't use my mouse to highlight the whole line without it clicking off in the middle.

Were there any changes made to your system/device before the issue?? Connect your device to a different computer and check if it persists.
