Mouse freezing on MacBook Pro

Hello, I've just bought a Basilisk and wanted to use it with my MacBook Pro 15inch 2019. I'm running on MacOs Mojave 10.14.6 As soon as I plugged my mouse, my computer started freezing randomly. I didn't find any help on other forums. It maybe is a problem with the new usb3 ports on MacBooks : I have to use an adaptor to switch from usb 2(from the mouse) to usb3 (to the Mac). Maybe the adaptor doesn't work with this mouse ? Does someone experienced the same ? Please help me, I was so happy to have a new mouse :(
