Mouse Glitching and Affecting Keyboard | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

I have a Razer Naga Trinity mouse.

I am experiencing an issue where my keyboard (different brand) glitches whenever I connect this mouse to my PC. Whenever it’s plugged in, pressing a key on the keyboard sometimes results in the key being held down continuously (e.g., pressing "g" produces "ggggggggggggggg" even after releasing the key). Recently, it’s been holding down cntrl without me even pressing it to begin with. The mouse appears to lag as well, freezing then teleporting to where it should be. This happens every few seconds repeatedly, then stops for a while.

I’ve followed support articles, re-installing synapse, resetting drivers, scanned for viruses, etc. I’ve even bought a new PC a few months ago and the issue persists. I would also like to note that I do not have any issues with another razer mouse I use as a temporary substitute.

I have a video below of me going in circles and showing the glitch.

I’d try with Synapse clean reinstall first:

  • Uninstall Synapse
  • Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
  • Then restart your PC
  • After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

Also you can try installing new Synapse (beta) this time to test it: https://www.razer.com/synapse-new

Btw. mouse is connected to USB3.0 (or above) port?
