Mouse movement tracking not working with macros | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

I’ve tried researching this problem as much as possible to try and resolve it on my end. I have two monitors which seems to be causing my issue when sequencing a macro that includes mouse movement/position.

I recently purchased the Razer Naga Pro V2 for around $180. This is much more expensive than other available options, and I decided to go with this product because the reviews online said the software was the best. This does not seem to be the case.

I am attempting to sequence a macro using the synapse software. I want to be able to click on a certain location on my monitor using a macro. I’ve used all the recording options available -

Screen (Absolute Position)

Foreground (Relative Position)

Start Point (Mouse Cursor)

None of them are able to correctly track the movement of the mouse. The mouse appears to be offset in the horizontal direction by the additional space from the second monitor.

How can this be resolved? Also, is there an example of some simple code which positions the mouse pointer that can implemented using the “Run Command” option that can be inserted into the macro sequence?

Thank you.

Great explanation, ive got the exact same issue. Would love to know if you found any solution.

I was having the same issue & recording the macro with my 2nd monitor unplugged completely solved the issue.

I’m also having issues with Razer Macro not tracking my mouse properly. I can seem to get it to work temporarily when I unplug second monitor and do Absolute Position but the mouse clicks dont always seem to work.

I feel like Razer Synapse 2 may have worked perfectly. I was able to switch between monitors, mouse tabs. greats for path of exile game. using it for trade site and then using it for crafting which is extremly tedious. ATM the Razer Mouse tracking is well, garbage. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, tried Absolute, Relave and Mouse position. all fail. I’m using a window resolution of 2560x1440 and sometimes the absolute position changes to a specific spot that is NOT where i picked and it will perform the function in that spot but not where i wanted it to. Also, IF it does work, it works temporarily. For instance the Mouse clicks dont always work. it will work if i left click somewhere else and then use the macro. If you want to duplicate and see what I’m talking about you can find my Cluster Jewel Crafting macro in my macro’s and try that with path of exile. You’ll see my frustation :(
