Mouse moving way too fast

So i recently got the viper mini, its a great mouse and I love it to death so I'm just gonna say right here that its still a good mouse and i think i just have a problem with my computer. however, recently the sensitivity just seemed way up and i couldn't play anything at all. so I check the sensitivity on my game and its the same. I think ok, maybe synapse somehow got messed up. I check synapse, and it is the same. I check windows mouse properties and its all the same. then when i tried changing it in synapse, it didn't go down at all. I have tried completely closing synapse, restarting my computer, unplugging and replugging the mouse, and nothing works. does anybody know at all how i can fix this? the mouse has been great and i sincerely believe this is somehow my fault but I still want to fix it. Edit: update: i repaired synapse and uninstalled and reinstalled it, still doesnt work
