Mouse Razer Pro Click not working

Hi I recently bought a few Razer peripherals and they've been great. In particular my Razer Pro Click mouse worked straight away without any installation needed. I first connected it directly with the cable to my laptop and then used it with the dongle after it was fully charged. Yesterday it stopped working altogether, no lights, no anything. I'm assuming it's the battery since I haven't charged it since that first time and it's been three weeks but when I plug it directly to the laptop it still does not respond and the status light does not switch on. Am I doing anything silly? Any ideas? Many thanks!
