Mouse Shows Up But Can't Customize | Razer Insider

So I just got the Naga Classic Edition Chroma mouse. It shows up in Synapse 3, but when I click on it it just stays on the tab I was already on and just brings up a small banner on the bottom that says the name of the mouse. It also won't let me change anything in Chroma Studio. So not only can I not change my lighting, but I also can't customize my buttons. This is starting to become frustrating as I've tried every solution I can think of. Running on a fully updated Windows 7 PC. Synapse is also up to date.
I have the same exact issue. Surely it must be a widespread bug. Today I also bought the same mouse, the Naga Classic Edition Chroma. Synapse 3 recognizes it, but when clicking the Icon no menus appear. Only the bottom banner changes to the mouse name.

I already have 3 other razer products functioning fine in synapse 3. This mouse is the only one that will not open any menus. I click the icon and it does nothing. It is frustrating to not be able to change any settings or customize the mouse at all.

Running Windows 10, Synapse up to date as well. Tried everything too. Perhaps it is a new bug, and if so hopefully it is fixed soon. I'd appreciate if anyone could post an update here if any solution is found.
FOUND SOLUTION (possible fix): Somehow I figured this out by luck: I went into the synapse installation folder location in program files which is here for me: Razer > Synapse3 > WPFUI > Razer.147_0.UI > Defaults > 147 and deleted "DeviceInstance.json"

I closed all razer programs first, deleted the file, then started synapse and it worked! I could access the mouse menu again and do everything. Seems to work so far. You can move the file elsewhere/back it up rather than delete it, just in case something goes wrong and you have to move it back.

I'm not sure if the folder ID numbers are the same for anyone else. I assume "Razer.147_0.UI" is the given hardware ID for the Naga mouse. Each hardware product has their own folder with that format in WPFUI and usually have the product names somewhere in the folder. I'm on Windows 10. Hope this may work for others!
