Mouse tracking issue on Razer Viper Mini

I'm from India and recently noticed a strange issue with my Razer Viper Mini mouse. Every time I try to move the cursor, it shoots to the edge of the screen and gets stuck there. It's making the mouse basically unusable.

The mouse is out of warranty, but I still opened it up and cleaned it thoroughly, including around the sensor and inside. Despite that, the issue persists.

I've tried:

  • Using different USB ports

  • Testing it on another surface

  • Plugging it into another PC (same issue occurs)

  • Uninstalling and reinstalling Razer Synapse and drivers

I’m not sure if this is a hardware-level sensor problem or something else. Would appreciate any advice before I consider replacing it.

Hi pulseBlueGraysource579,

I understand that you're experiencing issues with your Razer Viper Mini cursor. Since you've already tried several troubleshooting steps, I recommend testing the mouse on a different surface. Please avoid using surfaces that are rough, shiny, or glossy, such as glass or similar materials, as these can affect the sensor's performance. For more detailed guidance, please refer to this article. If the problem persist, we can deem the device faulty.
