So I'm looking to replace my old pad with one of razer's chroma pads and I wanted to know if the pad is waterproof?

No it's not waterproof. If you spill water on the electronic board, and the water gets inside, you'll might damage Chroma lighting.
With my Old Goliathus Control mouse pad, I give regular washes to remove dried sweat marks.
With the Goliathus Extended Chroma, it sure is difficult to clean with the Fibre LED strip in the way.
