my blackshark v2x (for xbox) is not working

i barely got the blackshark v2x today and when i put it on the the headset was working just fine but when i joined a party with my friend i couldn’t speak with the mic, can anyone help me?

    Hi ​@rushVividMulberryweb107,

    Please make sure the headset’s microphone is not muted and is set as the default input device on your system. You should also select the headset as the input device in your game or app’s audio settings.

    If the issue persists, please send me the headset’s serial number via PM so I can look into any model-specific solutions.
