My Razer Basilisk Ultimate stoped working when using usb cable

Out of the blue, my mouse just stop working and when I review the Device Manager on my PC I get the below error.

So I was trying different things, from uninstalling drivers, rebooting my pc and even try a firmware update on my mouse, but the usb wired connection was not recognized. Then I try something else, I fully uninstalled Razer Synaps from my pc, restarted my pc and my mouse started working again with the cable, so I thought of reinstalling Synapse to have my settings on other Razer products too, but again it stopped working and giving the above error.

Any suggestions on what I can do? I tried opening a support ticket but it seesm my “free” support service is expired.

Hey so I wanted to do a follow up, I somehow maked it work again!! The solution was to uninstall drivers related to my mouse under Keyboard and Mice category and use Synapse 4 (most recent version). Hope this helps anyone else :)

Uninstall the Synapse is the only way for now.

Yup for now that’s what I’ve done, but it makes me sad because I also have more razer products with chroma on each of them, aside of setting the rgb effect, I will not be abel to configure other settings :/

but yeah, avoid having synapse have my mouse working all good while been conected with cable

Edit:

Quick update, so I find out that if I uninstall the drivers of the mouse under “Keyboards” and “Mice and other pointing devices” categories, synapse is not able to find my mouse so I can customize but it is working while wired. some witchcraft on this

(the ones showing up here are for 2.4 drivers)

Hey guys so i was having this problem and i couldn’t fix it by uninstalling and reinstalling but i noticed that because i play games by riot i had Vanguard and it was stopping razer from noticing when the mouse was plugged in so try right clicking on Vanguard and exiting Vanguard. it should be in the little up arrow in the bottom right
