my Razer Basilisk V3 hyperspeed clicks multiple times if i press the left mouse button.

Yesterday my Razer basilisk v3 hyperspeed stopped working normally and instead every time i either lightly press or lightly hold my left mouse button it always presses it multiple times so now i have to press it hard or hold it hard or otherwise it will click multiple times, i already tried updating or redownloading my drivers, removed synapse, changed the double click settings and cleaned it with an air canister and nothing worked. Also i have had this for less than a year.

 

And yes i did do the General troubleshooting from the actual razer help website.

Try to use a can of compressed air and spray it in between the gaps. This issue is often caused by the contacts under the button being dirty. Furthermore, this can help remove static and any debris between the switch and housing. There's no need to remove the plastic cover from the mouse. I cannot say with certainty what type of dirt and debris may be on your product but we usually have a fair amount of luck cleaning it. If the issue still persists, then shoot me a PM along with mouse’s serial number so I can validate it and check for other options.
