My razer basilisk v3 x hyperspeed  scroll wheel recently stopped working. I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps with no success:

  • Cleaned the scroll wheel and area around it
  • Tested the mouse on multiple PCs (both wired and wireless)
  • Reinstalled Razer Synapse and mouse drivers
  • Updated firmware via Synapse

I have unfortunately lost the purchase receipt, but the serial number is (removed serial number) (manufactured ~March 2023). Could you please check the warranty status for this unit and let me know whether repair or replacement options are available? I can provide a photo of the serial number on the mouse if needed.
Thank you for your assistance. Please tell me the next steps and any information you need from me.
Best regards,

When I switch the mouse from OFF to 2.4 GHz mode and scroll the wheel, it moves slightly for a moment, then stops responding entirely. This suggests the scroll wheel sensor is receiving power but not maintaining signal, which seems consistent with the scroll encoder issue other users have reported on the Basilisk v3 x hyperspeed

Hey there, @Lavacooldome698

I understand that you're having a scroll wheel issues with your Razer Basilisk V3 X Hyperspeed. Dirt, dust, and other debris stuck under the switches or other parts of your Razer mouse may cause the issue, please try to use a can of compressed air under the affected button to dislodge dirt, dust, and other debris.

Also, does the issue persists with or without Razer Synapse? Please send me a PM together with your device’s serial number so I can check its details here in our system and assist you further. Thank you!
