My Razer Blackwidow v4 75% keyboard RGB effect is delayed

My Razer Blackwidow v4 75% keyboard RGB effect is delayed. While other keyboards' RGB effects feel like they move at 60fps, my Black Widow v4 feels like they move at 24fps. I tried reinstalling Razer Synapse, changing USB ports, and removing the device from Device Manager. No matter what I do, I can't fix the lag in my RGB effects. When I delete the synapse, the RGB effect comes out normally again without any delay, so it doesn't seem to be a keyboard problem. Is there any way to reinstall the Razer Blackwidow v4 firmware? The current firmware version is 1.0.6.0.

Please understand that the sentences are awkward because I used a translator. Thank you and Happy New Year

I have the same issue, had the same issue across 2 different keyboards. All my other razer devices have had smoother rgb. I don’t know why this one is any different. Please come out with some fix for this

There’s currently no FW update for Blackwidow V4 75%, only the pro version.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I’ve since sold the keyboard, but noticed this applies to my other razer devices as well (huntsman elite, and firefly v2 pro.) I have spent probably about 10 hours in total trying to find a solution to this. Tried going through every single recommended diagnostic tree from Razer themselves including a fresh install of windows 11, installing and uninstalling razer synapse 3 mutlitple times (and I mean multiple as in like over 10 times at this point) but to no avail. The keyboard lighting would freeze, and then work but at a slow frame rate. I tried installing the “New Razer Synapse” to see if that would make any difference but the lag in the lighting is 10x worse with this. On synapse 3 I attempted to manually boost the fps on chroma sdk in my registry by pressing win + r and entering regedit, going to local machine > software > razer > chroma sdk > going into properties and adding a EffectFPS 32 bit DWORD, and setting the value to 120 decimal, but no such luck. Also went through my power settings and made sure that I disabled “allow this pc to turn off this device” as well as disabled throttling usb power output but no such luck. I have a very solid rig (ryzen 7 7800x3d, 4070ti, 32gb ram etc) so I doubt that this is a hardware issue. I have gone through a few keyboards since I sold my bw 75 such as a wooting 60he which uses their wootility software for the lighting and had no problems, as well as a Corsair K65 + wireless and have had no issues using the iCue software with it. I would really like to order another bw 75 if I can solve this issue for my other razer devices but at this point I am thinking either the razer software is the problem but I don’t know how to solve it. Unless anyone is able to find a fix for this Razer will not be receiving my money anymore.

Any fix for this???? It’s really annoying...

I have a similar issue with the Pro (non-75%). When I use a key to swap chrome profiles between, such as a “Blackout” that turns all RGB off, every other device is instant; the keyboard either (rarely) is instant as well, or (typically) takes upwards of 10+ seconds to catch up.

I have the same lag on my Blackwidow Elite keyboard… My other razer devices work fine.

The keyboard is connected through a usb hub, and worked fine with Synapse 3, but on Synapse 4 it's very laggy and sometimes updates only after 10 seconds ore more.

It only works smoothly when directly connected to a usb-port on my pc… it's not a bandwidth issue as it also does it when it's the only device connected on a usb 3.0 hub. (Also to reiterate, it works fine on Synapse 3).

I'm fine with Synapse 3 but soon we are forced to move to 4…
