My Razer Deathadder essential doesn't pop up on Synapse

I purchased this mouse yesterday and downloaded the software so I can customize it, but it doesn’t show up there. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. I checked if it is in Device Manager, and it wasn’t there. So the last thing I tried was to check my serial number, and I got hit with this: “We are unable to locate your serial number in our database. ”Does this mean that I have been scammed, or is there a fix?

For security reasons, I would suggest removing the photo of the serial number of your mouse from your post. Upon checking, please be advised that I can not verify the serial number in our system. I would highly suggest that you get in touch with your reseller for a refund. Just send me a PM for any other concerns.
