hi guys, so i bought a Razer Kraken X, everything arrived perfectly, i needed to buy a p2 adapter, because i use a notebook and it only has one input, i connected the audio and the microphone, but i can't use the microphone, can someone help me? is it because I need to use synapse? or is it just plug in that it works? by the way, it is 7.1, do I need to activate the code that comes in the box for the headset to work completely?

Do you mind sending me the serial number of your headset so I can verify the model? If you have the analog variant, you don't need to use the splitter. Just plug it directly into the audio jack of your laptop, and both the headphone and the mic should work. As for the activation code, you only need it if you want to use the 7.1 surround sound app.
