My Razer Headset comes up as Speaker and not Tiamat 7.1 V2


So I just got a new headset Razers Tiamat 7.1 V2. And i plugged all the cables in and it is showing up on razer synapse 2.0 but as my audio in the bottom right it shows as speaker. It does not play 7.1 Audio and I have tried alot to fix it please help me.

Thanks for the photos. The Tiamat 7.1 V2 is not supported by Synapse 3. Only Synapse 2 will be able to recognize it. To be able to get true 7.1 surround sound, it will need to be plugged into a PC or motherboard that has analog surround sound ports. You can find more information about this here.

Synpase is only designed to control the Chroma Lighting of the Tiamat 7.1 V2. You will have to use the software your soundcard to control the surround sound settings or the or the audio control unit to adjust the volume.
