My Razer is making a scratching sound, and the camera goes out

My Razer camera is making a scratching sound and then the camera goes out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and it is doing the same thing. I have tried moving the cord to a different port and the problem remains, What else can I do?  This camera is only a few months old.
