My Razer Kraken Kitty headset has a crackling, static-y sound

So, I recently got the Razer Kraken Kitty Quartz Edition (Not Bluetooth) after obsessing over the kitty ears. However, whenever I have 2 or more applications open, the audio just suddenly goes to static. If I'm in a Discord call, and try playing music from Spotify in the background, the music and the call itself just goes to a weird crackling noise. This also happens whenever I'm loading games, or a browser. It's extremely annoying and I've tried many things to fix it, to no avail. I'd really like to figure out what's going on and why this $150 headset is causing me more trouble than my older $40 headset.
