My razer ornata v3's LEDs turn on for a split second after messing with the lighting in synapse but then turns straight off

went to sleep yesterday and the keyboard was working fine,  now its leds are not turning on. when I enter synapse to see if its turned off it says they are active and when I change the brightness they come on for half a second and in the next second dim down to null. Is there an LED switch that I may have fat fingered on this keyboard? Ive checked the fn macros but as they aren't labelled its hard to say
