Dear razer support team!
My deathadder essential mouse (that I just opened) was already registered by someone else. Because of this it didnt show up on razer synapse, therefore I cannot customise its settings. What can I do, so it will show up on my app?

There’s a high possibility that you have purchased a counterfeit device. Let me double-check just to be sure. Please send me a PM along with your mouse’s serial number so I can validate it in our database and check the registration.

If it’s not detected, might be counterfeit.

Post a photo of the bottom of mouse (connected to PC and working).
