My razor headset microphone sensitivity is very low | Razer Insider

Hi there I recently moved from console to pc and my headset was amazing on console, I didn't even need to bring the retractable microphone out of it's place by the left side. However since moving to pc for streaming, the microphone is so quiet and I can't figure out why. I've maxed out the volume to 100 and microphone boost is at 30dcb as there is literally nothing picking up below 20dcb.

I have no idea what to do as every stream people say I am so quiet and yet on console it was loud and sensitive. Can anyone help before I look into if the headset is faulty or not? They are the white (mercury) kraken classic headphones if I am not mistaken.

Any help would be great as I am pulling my hair out here going over and over settings and nothing is working. With it being boosted on 30dcb there is a horrible static noise coming through too so obviously this is not good for streams, I just feel at such a high level it should actually be loud? Like deafening almost. Thanks

When the microphone behavior is occurring, is the Razer Synapse running in the background? Have you tried connecting it to a different computer and check if it behaves the same? Let's isolate the behavior by following the steps from this link. Let see how it goes. Else, send me a PM including the device's serial number that starts with "SN". Also, please change your username for your security as it contains your activation code and others might use it.
