Hello there! I'm using the Razer Synapse 3 and I would like to save some profiles on my keyboard.
But if I put a profile into the storage and close Razer Synapse 3 it can't "use" the profile. I can switch between the Profiles but the effect doesn't change....
What I have tried:
1. Reset the Razer Huntsman
2. Reinstall Razer Synapse 3
But nothing helped :(
Can you help me pls?
If you need some more information, just ask!

This has been an ongoing problem for me. Very annoying because the keyboard WILL NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED. Product page says can store up to 5 profiles. I can't even save one. Soon as I quit synapse, all profiles lost from keyboard. All I really want is one profile.
I have a work around, which only gets you ONE profile. Step 3 is the key.
1) Connect the keyboard to Win 7 virtual machine. I use VMware Fusion.
2) Program the keyboard as needed. I changed keybindings and set a static lighting color.
3) Click the X in the top right corner of the screen to close Synapse (although it stays running in the background somewhat). Now, disconnect the keyboard from the Virtual Machine. NOTE, leave it plugged in to the host machine, never should you power cycle the keyboard or you will use the profile on the keyboard.
4) Keyboard now works as programmed.
This works for me until host computer is shutdown or keyboard is unplugged and plugged back in. After which the keybindings are intact but lighting goes back to breathing which is subtle
Connect the keyboard to a virtual machine. I use VMware Fusion (need to add a couple lines to the .vmx file:
usb.generic.allowHID = "TRUE"
usb.generic.allowLastHID = "TRUE"
)
After adding those lines and starting up VMware Fusion and booting Windows 7,

Hi there guys! What kinds of profiles are you trying to save on the on-board memory? Can you share a photo or video of it?

Colors. Can't save keyboard color schemes. Soon as you quit Synapse3 or disconnect the keyboard, then the keyboard goes back to the default breathing/cycling colors.

Thanks for the reply. Color profiles, unlike macros, cannot be saved to the on-board memory. It will need Synapse 3. Let me know if you have other questions.

The documentation for the BlackWidow Elite says otherwise. Quoting the Master Guide page 14 (attached):
"KEYBOARD
The Keyboard tab is the main tab for your Razer BlackWidow Elite. From here, you can change your device settings such as key assignments, gaming mode settings and your device's lighting. Changes made under this tab are automatically saved to your system and cloud storage however, you need to click the On-board Profiles button ( ) to open the storage slots for your Razer device's on-board memory then drag and drop the profiles you want to store on your device."
No mention lighting exemption.
Synapse3 is a memory and CPU hog. This may not be even noticeable on a big gaming rig, but I am using this on a light office machine and a laptop where I do not want all that stuff running in the background. For my Synapse3 is a deal breaker. Don't want to give up all those resources just for a steady single color on all keys.
I would really like to see this fixed.

I recommend sending feedback about this through Synapse 3. Click on the cogwheel and go to the About tab. There should be a button there to submit feedback.
