Mystic light issue

I set up my synapse studio to control lighting for mystic light a few months back and hadn't touched it since. Today i wanted to change the color i set mystic light to, but if i change the color or try to apply another effect over the existing one, nothing happens. The old setting i have still works and i can toggle it on and off, and if I change the chroma connect for mystic light to quick effects, the effects show up correctly. Is there something wrong with mystic light right now? I have tried reinstalling both dragon center and synapse.
