Naga Chroma Laser/Connectivity Issue

My Naga Chroma mouse has been cutting in and out with its laser sensor, randomly in game it will stop working(mouse is still powered on) and it comes back within a few seconds but I have noticed that the vertical axis sometimes still works when the mouse cuts out, but the horizontal movement is impaired for the time. I tried cleaning the sensor with an alcohol dampened cotton swab and it worked for longer than usual before cutting back out again.

How long have you had the mouse? Please send me the serial number so I can verify the warranty status. There's not much that we can do if the sensor is already in its last legs. *Thread locked to curb the conversation to PMs.
