Naga Pro Battery Drain

Left for two weeks and when I came back it seems my Naga Pro can no longer keep a charge.

Fully charged to 100% and if it stays idle (low power mode or sleep) it dies in less than a day. Can’t tell if this is a software issue when updated to synapse 4. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi mpetrocelli,

I understand that your Razer Naga Pro mouse no longer holds a charge after being idle for a day. I'm here to assist you with your Razer Naga Pro charging issue. Let's gather some details and try a few troubleshooting steps to identify the problem:

  • Does the issue occur using both Hyperspeed (2.4 GHz) and Bluetooth?
  • When did you first notice this issue? Was it immediately after updating to Synapse 4?
  • When you attempt to charge your mouse, does it show that it’s charging, or is the percentage stuck?
  • Check for any noticeable damage to the USB cable or dock. Is there any visible damage to the mouse itself?
  • How long does the battery last when you go wireless?
  • Were there any incidents or accidental drops before the issue started?
  • Does your mouse still turn on?

For further troubleshooting, do the steps below:
1. ensure that the wireless dongle is connected directly to your computer and not through a USB hub. If it's already directly connected, try a different USB port.
2. For optimal performance, ensure the dongle has a direct line of sight to minimize interference.
3. Make sure to update your mouse firmware.
4. Please turn off the mouse and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes.
5. Test your mouse on another PC and verify if the issue still exist.

Feel free to update me via PM on your findings. Please also provide your device serial number and proof of purchase for warranty validation. All the best!
