Naga pro dongle pairing utility not working

Hi, I have a Naga Pro mouse (NOT the v2). I bought a replacement dongle and used the mouse pairing utlity (located here: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4868?_ga=2.15037110.1292592264.1722038935-1378552134.1722038935&_gl=1*1fpdeli*_ga*MTM3ODU1MjEzNC4xNzIyMDM4OTM1*_ga_3TRK53PM75*MTcyMjAzNzExMC4yLjEuMTcyMjAzODkzOS4yOS4wLjA.).

The utility recognizes both and when I hit the PAIR button, it says everything is successful. But then when I switch the mouse to 2.4 mode, the cursor doesn't move, and Synapse doesn't recognize the mouse.

I have the mouse connected by the original USB cable directly to the PC and not through a hub. The mouse works fine when connected to the laptop by cable and when connected via Bluetooth.

The dongle model number is DGRFG7

The mouse model number is RZ01-0342

Any advice on this?
