Naga Pro freezing and skipping

Just purchased the Naga Pro yesterday and I am having an issue with the mouse pointer skipping and freezing when gaming. I have deleted and reinstalled Synapse 3.0 and performed a calibration. I have read a few things about the 2.4 connection being interfered by a router? My router is on my desk in between the keyboard, but didnt have this issue with my previous wireless mouse. I have read about updating the firmware, but the link on the Razer website doesn't work. Hoping to resolve this quickly or will return it. My keyboard and headset are Razer so was trying to keep it in the family.
