Naga Trinity does not like to cooperate | Razer Insider

Originally, I had tried to figure out how to send this via email to support, but it seems every link on the website only brings you to Warranty Support now, so that's not going to help.

So the issue I'm having is some very bizarre behavior that stems from plugging in my Naga Trinity. Most of the time, I don't unplug my Lancehead TE Mercury before plugging in my Naga Trinity in order to have faster F1-F12 access while playing games. The keyboard I have, the one the Trinity seems to cause issues with, is the Black Widow X Chroma Mercury. While the mouse (mouses? mice?) behave properly, once the Trinity is in, the keyboard begins acting up in ways I've never seen before.

After a while of use (sometimes 30 minutes, sometimes almost 3 hours), the Trinity and Widow will begin disconnecting and reconnecting a couple of times in quick succession, despite both plugs having good, firm connections and neither being bumped or tampered with. Once they have reconnected for the last time, the Trinity begins behaving as expected, but issues begin to arise with the Widow. These include, but are not limited to:

1) The chroma will toggle between on and off at random

2) The keys will no longer respond temporarily

3) Ghost inputs appear, such as opening a chat menu, CTRL or Shift hold themselves with no previous input, or Macro Mode will activate spontaneously.

4) Key binds in-game remain functioning, but I can no longer type messages to party members.

5) Key binds outside of game no longer function. For example, Shift+I now opens Inspect Element, rather than typing “I” into discord.

6) Sometimes I straight up lose my keyboard for a few seconds until it recognizes the device again

This issue only arose recently, as I had not had issues with this in years prior. When I only have the Lancehead and Widow plugged in, both work flawlessly for hours on end. The issues arise after the Trinity has been plugged in for a while, but the issues only seem to impact the Widow. Sometimes the issue resolves if I close the game, while other times I have to do a full PC restart to have a functioning keyboard again. Is it a software issue? Hardware? Are they not all supposed to run on Synapse 3.0, despite being recognized and working just fine until recently? Did an update bork some of the compatibility? Is this something I’d have to uninstall drivers for? Let me know what you think, because the sudden nature of this issue has left me a bit in the dark for ideas.

Does the issue happen when the Razer Blackwidow X Chroma and Naga Trinity are the only peripherals connected in your setup? Also, are your devices connected directly to your computer's USB port or a USB hub? Please clean reinstall your Razer Synapse 3.0 and use either the keyboard and the Razer Lance TE or Naga Trinity (avoid plugging both mice) and see if the behavior persists. Otherwise, send me a PM including your Razer Synapse logs and video showing the issue. Save the files via Google Drive or any online drive account, then paste the link in your message. I'll be locking this thread now to divert our conversation privately.
