Nari mic does not work.

Everything is updated. Not on mute. Speakers work. No mic feedback at all. It says everything is working fine.

Does the issue persist when using an AUX cable? Please test the headset on both a PC and a phone and send me a PM.

Please PM me the serial number of your headset so I can give you the dongle recovery tool. Let's start from there.

Click on my name then hit "Start Conversation" on the next window. Here's how to locate your headset's S/N:

This is a known issue in the latest Windows 10 update. To recover your mic function, please try the followings steps. Launch Razer Synapse 3. Select your Razer Nari headset within the dashboard. Navigate to the Mic tab. Ensure that the Ambient Noise Reduction box is checked. Next, navigate to the “Sounds” Settings in Windows. Right click on the speaker icon in the bottom right of your task bar and click on “Sounds”. Select the “Recording Tab” and make sure the Razer Nari is selected as your default device. Next, click the “Properties” icon located at the bottom of the pop up. Navigate to the “Advanced” tab. Change the Default Format to "1channel,16bits, 44100Hz". Click OK.

Same issue. Nari Essential has been working fine since Christmas then nothing. Can hear audio. Followed G_Leland's directions above (Thank you!) but to no effect. [sigh] Was going to remove/ reinstall Synapse 3 to see if that helped, but was concerned that I was going to lose Synapse 3 logs. Not sure what benefit that would be. Also ran Windows troubleshooter (why not?) but couldn't find anything. (big surprise.) Can't get to model #/ serial #. feels like it would take a lot of force to remove ear pad.

Can you actually tell me, does the issue repeat on another PC?

You can find the serial number on the box as well. Do send me a PM so we can try other troubleshooting steps.

Box is long gone. I have receipt where we bought it, but doubt that will be helpful, correct? I can try to remove ear pad. do you have a YouTube video for that? Otherwise I could try a butter knife to help pry it off?

You will damage the pads if you pry it off using a knife. You can check this. It's not the same headset but the process is pretty much on point.

Okay, so it is a slip cover. Thanks! the video was helpful. Very "on-point". I had thought that I was pulling the pad off the base because on the old Razer Man o' War the soft pad and the hard base came off together. Next steps? Best regards, Todd Petrin
