Nari Ultimate dongle is apparently broken

I am having a problem that, reviewing the forum, seems to be quite common: the dongle on my Razer Nari Ultimate headset has stopped working correctly. Plugging and unplugging the dongle will sometimes correct things briefly, but what ultimately ends up happening is that the headset just repeatedly connects and disconnects from the dongle. Eventually all Razer peripherals stop working (mouse and keyboard). The other peripherals resume working when the dongle is removed. The headset works correctly when plugged in with the cord. I have tried in another computer with the same result. I tried the utility to re-pair the dongle, but it did not solve the issue. I am pretty sure the dongle is defective. I am not sure what to do next. Any help is appreciated.
