Need help changing phone number. How long does support take to reply? | Razer Insider

It has been 4 days already and soon be 5 and razer has not reply me. I search and google says 72 hours. I cant buy anything because i need SMS code but bc is connected to my old number i cant buy anything. So i can someone help me. Also i need it by tomorrow. So if any razer support is reading this. pls help

I doubt razer can get you your product within a day even if you had no issues with your number.


Seems like there’s multiple threads about razer support responding late, I’d say give it a week or two, based off other peoples prior experiences. I’m also waiting for a response from razer support.

 

If you can I suggest you make a new account with a different number and make your purchase.


Is not a product that i want to buy. Is that i cant buy any in games stuff because of my razer gold. My razer gold sends a SMS to my old phone number which i dont own anymore and i need a razer staff to remove the number. 


looks like you have no choice but to wait it out, they’ll probably take a week or two to respond, if you’re in US or Canada, you can give them a call. 

You can also speed up the process by putting up a migration request and providing all the information below into your request. 

  • Full Name
  • Mobile Number (old one)
  • Email Address
  • Serial Number of Registered Devices (proof of previous transactions will work as well) 

Usually mods respond pretty quickly to threads like these, just be patient, I’m sure they’ll be able to help you and send your request on your behalf.


I already send a ticket but is not a migration request. So should i send another ticket but this time for migration request? I am also in the SG so i dont think i can call them. And if i am going to do another ticket, what do i put for the nature of request and request type? (I also go to razer gold to submit the ticket, that is where you submit the ticket right?)

you can contact a razer support/moderator who will most likely respond quicker and send a migration request on your behalf

I have send a PM and have provided the info. But i did not send a migration request as im scared it may set my last ticket back to the line
