Need help with 7.1 surround :(

So i had option to select the 7.1 as my default device was available. I was having issues with my headset so i decided to uninstall the device. Once reinstalling, the 7.1 never came back so i cant use the surround sound feature. Is there a way to get it back?

This issue typically has something to do with reactivation. I highly suggest following the steps on how to do a clean reinstallation from this page.
