Following windows update, I cannot boot my laptop without disabling secure boot:
Device name LAPTOP-PAV8BQ83
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz (2.59 GHz)
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 with Max-Q Design (8 GB)
Intel(R) UHD Graphics (128 MB)
Storage 134 GB of 477 GB used
Device ID A095121E-AFE8-49BA-AED2-6C281D519F7D
Product ID [removed by moderator] -AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

I have still followed the instructions seen on razer’s site to create a USB with the EFI files to reboot it, but it will not stick.

Please help!

Hey there, @byteTuscandata191

I understand that following a Windows update, you're unable to boot your laptop with Secure Boot enabled, and that you've already tried the USB EFI recovery procedure from our support site, but the changes do not persist and the issue remains.

Please send me a PM along with the following details below so I can create a case for you and forward it to our relevant team for further assistance.

Laptops serial number:

Full Name:

Email address associated with Razer ID:

Phone number:

Country:

Additionally, could you send me:

  • A photo of the Secure Boot Violation error screen.
  • Your current BIOS version (if available).

You can upload the photo using this link and then send me the link once it’s uploaded. Thank you!
