Hey everyone,
I want to share with you the full story behind what happened—why I made the video, what Razer did (or didn’t do), and why I strongly advise anyone considering buying a Razer mouse to think again.
It all started with a simple purchase...I’ve been a loyal customer of Razer for years. I’ve bought multiple products from them—keyboards, headsets, and yes, several mice. But this time around, the experience was nothing short of a nightmare.\I purchased a Razer mouse expecting premium quality, given the high price and big-name reputation. But within a few weeks of use, the mouse started malfunctioning First, it was double-clicking when I single-clicked. Then, the scroll wheel became unreliable i hadn’t dropped it, mishandled it, or spilled anything. It just failed—plain and simple
I bought the most expexinve mouse and spend like 700 usd in razer producs:
Viper Mini Wired Optical the most cheap one i paid 40 usd scroll wheel click not working
stop working after one year
Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition: I paid 400 usd scroll wheel click not working
stop of working after 6 monht
Razer White Viper v1 Ultimate Gaming Mouse/Dock scroll wheel click not working
stop of working after 5 I paid 120 USD
Razer Viper v2 pro: I paid 70 USD wireless dongle no loner working
stop of working after 4 months
and also have problme whit the screll whell click sometimes works sometimes works
Thinks i try
install last drivers
install in new os windows 10 and 11
test in linux os
open and clean
try in my phone and tablet (samsung tablet)
install and reeinstall drivers and software.
looks like this hardware issue whit all device from razer mouse I love the brand but i can tolerated this
even the costumer service its awnser , The experience turned into a frustrating mess. Responses were painfully delayed they kept sending repetitive troubleshooting steps that had nothing to do with the actual problem. It was clear they weren't really reading my messages. Even worse, they completely ignored the evidence I provided, including video recordings of the issue, proof of purchase, and detailed written explanations. After all that back-and-forth, they ultimately refused to offer either a refund or a proper replacement. It felt like they were doing everything possible to avoid taking responsibility.
they said if you buy in amazon or best buy you need to go to the store to aplly the garanty but amazon and bestbuy have 3 months of guarantee of the products and if they know this a hardware issue they need to fix the problem the most easy and fast way
Let’s talk about this for a second. Razer markets their mice as “elite,” “gamer-grade,” and “built to last.” But if a mouse dies in less than 7 months with moderate usage, and they do everything possible to avoid honoring a warranty, how is that “elite”?
It’s not. It’s deceptive. And it’s disrespectful to paying customers.
This isn’t a one-time issue—it’s a pattern, and it needs to be addressed publicly.
If you're thinking about buying a Razer mouse, please do your research. Look beyond the hype. There are better, more reliable brands out there that respect their customers and build products that last.
I'm not just venting here—I’m trying to save others from wasting their time and money like I did.
Let’s hold companies accountable.
