New 14” Razor Laptop Key problem - Anyone else having this issue? | Razer Insider

Hi I just received my new Razer 14” laptop and I’m having an issue with a few of the keys including the space bar. It’s showing something (white) like a small piece of plastic but not very uniform from between the keys in the front. I’m trying to be as specific as I can but it’s actually very noticeable when looking down on the laptops keyboard from a sitting position.

The white marks are still visible when the chroma is turned off but becomes more visible when the chroma it’s activated. It doesn’t appear to be light also because it doesn’t change color when the chroma does. On one of the keys it appears to be something like two dashes with one side kinda crooked, the other one on the space bar looks more like two dots side by side.

At first I thought it was something like a piece of styrofoam that got stuck between the keys but upon closer inspection it wasn’t that at all. The white plastic pieces showing between the keys appears to actually be from underneath the key itself, it’s visible from the front and is sticking out some perhaps but I can’t tell for sure. Something is either sticking out from underneath the key or something that should be covering this up is not in place or is missing. That’s my guess anyway but I can’t rule out something foreign because I can’t get to it. I suppose it could also be a manufacture defect of some kind but I don’t know unless I try to remove the key for further evaluation.

Would it be safe to just remove the key on the laptop to examine it further? Maybe it’s something I can fix, push back in place or remove?

PS: Assuming it’s safe to do so what’s the best way to remove a key safety from this laptop? Thx
