Just got the new Barracuda Pro headphones. I love them, EXCEPT if I have ANC turned to levels 6 through 10, there's a strong and significant hissing/white noise background sound. I own three other pair of ANC headphones, and have no issues with white noise on those. This has me thinking it could be a firmware issue. I do have the latest firmware, so I'm not sure if Razer is aware of this problem or not. I read a review that said there was zero white noise with these headphones, so I guess it's possible my headphones are defective, but somehow I doubt that.



Has anybody else purchased these and can confirm that significant white noise can be heard when active noise cancelling is turned ON, and the level is set to somewhere between 6 and 10? ANC level 10 has the loudest amount of white noise background sound, so the white noise sound does increase as you go from level 6 to 10. If anybody could tell me if they hear the white background hissing noise or not, I would appreciate it, so I can then go through the exchange process. I don't like having the ANC set to level 5 because it significantly reduces the noise it's blocking, so I would much prefer using the max level of noise cancelling.



Perhaps if others have been able to replicate this issue, it's possible to fix via a firmware update? Thanks for any help!

If that didn't help, let me know through PM and provide the serial number of your headset so I can start a case and forward it to the Engineering Team so they can have a look at the white noise hissing sound issue when ANC is set to level 6.
