New computer stuck in customs with a clearance delay. Will it ever clear?


I just ordered a razer laptop and was very happy to see it shipped almost immediately with a 3 day delivery window. Now I see it has a clearance delay at customs due to an incomplete commercial invoice. Has anyone else had this issue and does Razer resolve it in a timely manner or does it need to be returned. I  don’t want to wait weeks/months now.

We must be on the same container. My Order shipped right away and was scheduled for delivery today. Woke up to Clearance Delay - Import. 

Seems they require missing documentation from Razer, at least that's what the updated FedEx tracking says. 

 

Quick research indicates that this happens fairly often when ordering from Razer storefront. 

If you go to razer support it has a little disclaimer saying that customs can take up to an extra 13 days. 

 

Guess we have to hang in there.

This is what I got from Customer Support Chat. Hopefully it won’t take long for them to send the required documentation

This is normal to almost all international shipments, a clearance inspection, to ensure that the products coming to the recipient country comply with certain regulations and quality inspection and qualifications.

Be assured that our team is processing such required release documents. Your order should be delivered within 5 to 7 business days from the ship date, November 6, 2023, considering it is on Express Shipping. Saturdays and Sundays are not included on the delivery time frame

How long did your order end up taking? Mine has said clearance delay for almost 5 days now despite my shipping option being 2-3 business days.

Same here, ordered a wolverine v3 pro 10 days ago, said that it would be here in 5-7 business days and its still not here. Fedex tracking shows that its in customs still and razer support has told me they have provided them all the correct documentation so I’m not sure whats going on. Can’t get a hold of fedex, razer wont email me back about the situation. Getting pretty frustrating.

Worst part is, its been in customs for 7 days now. What is going on?
