New Razer Blade 15 11th Gen Display Flickering | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Afew hours after unboxing, I was casually brushing off some dust on the left region of the bezel around the hinge just above the razer sticker listing the specs and I noticed the screen will flicker and even turn off and on again.

Is it a faulty display port ? I have never experienced this type of issue across all the laptops I have owned.

Screen is working fine, but as long as you slighty touch the bezel it will flicker.

I managed to replicate the issue in the pictures below. Any help is appreciated thanks.
My 11th Gen 3808 240hz actually did that too today. But I had done a complete clean format of mine and has since stopped doing it since I reinstalled my graphics drivers, including the integrated Intel ones. I just figured it was some kind of device driver issue.
Let me try and give it a shot at reformatting thanks for the advice
I am also having the same issue with the same system. I received mine yesterday and as soon as I turned it on and it switch to the dedicated GPU the screen starts flickering uncontrollably. I noticed if I reduce the refresh rate to 60 Hz the flickering stops, but once its at 240Hz on the dedicated gpu it happens again.

Has anyone been able to solve this issue? I am pretty confident it's a software issue, I reached to Tech support and I don't understand how they have me on the line, but instead tell me they will fix the problem by email, even though they have me on the line. It has now been 24 hours and I have not heard back and the flickering just gets worse. This is not a cheap machine, and for $3000, the last thing we should need to do is settle for 60hz.
I know this is a lame answer, but have you tried downloading and installing the latest Nvidia and Intel GPU drivers. When installing the latest Nvidia GPU select the custom/clean installation option to see if that helps. I had the same issues when mine first arrived, but have not had any issues since updating.
Yes, I have done all of that. By the way, if possible would you be able to verify that you are running in discrete grapihics (nvidia gpu only) mode and that your screen refresh rate is set to 240hz? I did what you did in the past and it didn't work for so I wanted to just double check.

Did you have any issues with Synapse? I cannot seem to get it to recognize my 11th gen 15" Advanced... Win 10 Pro 21H2

I actually had this issue as well. I tried everything and even contacted support, but well, we all know support...

The only way I was able to fix this was by factory resetting the PC.

What do you mean? Factory reset using their built in recovery partition or reformatting again.

I wiped the entire SSD so no revert partition for me.

Hi guys! Have you contacted our Support Team? Please send me your email address or case number via PM so I can check its history.

Hey DotSlashShell! You can contact our Support Team and ask for a recovery stick or a copy of the recovery partition. Feel free to send me a PM so I can help you generate a case on your behalf. I'll be locking this thread now.
