New Razer Blade 15 with plastic pad on motherboard and noisy high pitch fan noise | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

Hi everyone, I recently bought a Razer Blade 15 on ebay.de
The laptop is working fine and the temperature looks good too:

35-40 idle

50-70 surfing, basic and heavy tasks

70-90 when gaming with an ms of 97 high temp.

However, I've noticed some strange things.
First of all, the fans are terribly noisy, there is a high pitched sound that drives me crazy all the time because it is too loud.

Second point is that I opened the back to clean it, but everything was dust-free, however I notice that the motherboard is covered with a strange plastic pad.

Third point is that something strange happens to the keyboard after i play a game also just for 15 minutes looks like the key on the keyboards start to be hard to tap, my theory is because this laptop sleeve pad on the motherbord starts to blow when it's hot.Is that possible?

Now my questions are:
Is it possible that the previous owner added this plastic to the motherboard? Or maybe a Razer repair service?

Should I remove it?
And maybe he also changed the fan and that's why there's this high pitched noise? maybe some sort of coil whine problem?
