New Razor KIYO Not Powering Up

Apologies for the basic question, I am beyond being a newbie to this stuff. I cannot get past step one. I have plugged in my Razer KIYO to my Mac Laptop and am getting nothing. The LED has not lit up. Any simple suggestions before I run down the rabbit hole? Thanks Z PS also plugged it into a PC Laptop and it did not come on
