so basically the new update for razer synapse the one released on 26/11/2020 just wont work for me i press install then it takes me to the usual install thingy were it starts then says update failed to complete please contact razer support

For now, please do not reinstall the app just yet. Please send me a screenshot of the error message and use this to collect Synapse logs. From there, you will want to upload the log files on GDrive or Dropbox and send me a shareable link.
