I think that some games have priority over Synapse, so it won’t display onscreen notifications.

I’d check if it happens in all games, but personally I’m having the same in some titles.

I spoke with Razer and finally had them to admit they deliberately programmed it that way!

They programmed Synapse to shut off DPI indicator in game. Baffling! Utterly flabbergasted they purposely programmed it that way.

If you have Synapse 3, if you’re in a game, open up Task Manager, find Razer Synapse Service, restart it, then on yor desktop open up Synapse, go to your mouse, then performance, try the different DPI stages. It should now show up in game.

Should a user do that? NO. Nope. Nada. Uh-uh. Why do I pay over $90 for a mouse and need to download, go online and get no DPI indicator in game?! The ONE thing I need and it doesn’t work. How utterly crazy is that?

I told the Razer all this. He had to admit the truth. I went straight to the point this time and deflected all their customer service tactics. I told him, what’s the point of DPI indicator if I can’t use it in game? That’s like a speedometer that shuts off in a car when I start driving. The ONE thing I need and they deliberately shut if off on purpose.

I told Razer, if Microsoft can get Game Bar to work in game, Steam can get their layer to work in game, and MSI can get their MSI layer to work in game, so can Razer.

What are they paying their coders, programmers and other employees in software development at Razer for?
