Not able to register my Razer Deathadder Essential Mouse and not detecting in Synapse

I just bought a Razer Deathadder Essential mouse. But when I tried to register the product on Razer site, I get an error that the serial number is not recognized.

I also installed Synapse to adjust the DPI of the mouse, but Synapse doesn’t detect any device.

I tried restarting my system, running Repair on Synapse but nothing is helping.

The mouse works fine otherwise, so doesn’t seem to be an USB issue.

Hi leetGreenMunsellfever12,

I have checked the device serial number, I found that is not in our database. Please note that this model is part of our legacy devices, and Razer has stopped manufacturing this specific model. I recommend taking advantage of the warranty provided by the seller.

To ensure authenticity and prevent similar issues in the future, we recommend buying Razer products from authorized Razer resellers. This ensures you receive a genuine device. Be aware that products from non-authorized dealers may be used, counterfeit, re-boxed, defective, or gray market goods. Take care for now!
