Dear Razer

I realise my laptop (2020 Razer 17 pro 4k edition) is out of warranty.  I realise I am not entitled to warranty replacements or hardware fixes but with the cost of these laptops I thought I would still get support advice / support help, especially after the issue occurred after a Razer update but the support portal says I am not allowed to log a ticket as it is out of warranty?  It does push me toward another brand were replacement is cheaper if there is no support at all, especially as these are £3,000 brand new.

I upgraded the Razer Synapse software of my machine to Synapse 4 quite a long time ago now but it crashed during this process, and I uninstalled it and reinstalled but immediately after this occurred I was left with a constantly flickering screen.   I have now disabled Chroma as well and has been okay the the last two times but I have had this before when it then occurs again so I am not sure.

It is fine using HDMI to another source though.

I have tried a Windows repair / reinstall with the media.

I have tried a Windows repair / reinstall with the media.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Intel and Nvidia graphics driver.  I have also tried other steps and do not seem to be able to resolve the issue and am not sure what else to do without reinstalling the entire OS as a clean install wiping out all my files.

I would appreciate some advice if I cannot log a ticket.

Kind Regards

Peter.
