On-Board Memory not saving profiles for mouse or keyboard

I assume this is an issue with Synapse, I have this issue where when I try to use the drag and drop function to save profiles onto my devices onboard memory the selected profile moves a little and then freezes, if I continue to hold the selected profile and move my cursor off the application and move it back I can suddenly drag the device though I cannot drop the selected profile into the onboard memory for either my BW or Basilisk V2. And to clarify I am not trying to set lighting profiles, I am trying to set macro and keybind profiles
