Orbweaver software mapping always includes "left control" on every keymapping

I'm on the MacOS using the Orbweaver. Using the desktop software, every time I try to map a key on the keypad to a key on my keyboard, it adds "left control" key to the key combination. For instance, you can see in the screenshot, when I try to make a keypad button to the "4" key on my keyboard, it instead maps to "left control + V". This happens for ANY key combination. This started happening around after I upgraded to MacOS Catalina 10.15.7, but no idea if that's what caused this. The Razer Synapse software is showing it's up to date. I've reached out to support, but I'm getting a canned response about killing my Windows PC processes... but again, I'm on a MacOS. I've tried restarting, and can't even find the Mac version of the Synapse software to try to reinstall on the Razer web site any more. Anyone have any ideas what's going on?
