Ornata Chroma Keyboard keeps disconnecting?

I have had my keyboard for just over 2 years, purchased in January of 2023, so unfortunately I think I’m outside of the typical warranty period. However, it keeps flashing a bunch (while plugged directly into the USB) and then turning it off. The only fix I have is to keep unplugging it and plugging it back in (sometimes it works after unplugging once, sometimes it takes 10 times) -- but it only resolves the issue for a little bit.

 

Is there anything I can do to fix this? At this time, I’ve completely unplugged it and am using just a basic keyboard but I really would like my gaming keyboard back. Thank you!

You can reinstall your keyboard’s drivers by following the steps below:

 

1. Press Windows + S on your device to open the Search bar.
2. Type in “Device Manager” and hit Enter.
3. Go to "Keyboard" or "Human Interface Device".
4. Right-click on the Razer Ornata Chroma and select Uninstall device.
5. Restart your computer to completely uninstall the drivers.

The drivers will automatically reinstall after your computer restarts. If that didn’t work out, shoot me a PM along with your device’s serial number so I can validate it and check for other troubleshooting steps that we can attempt.
