Orochi V2 disconnecting/ laggy

I’ve had my Orochi V2 for awhile and I’m loving it. However, recently I’ve had connections issues while I’m gaming. The mouse lags and makes it hard to swipe/ the buttons don’t works and sometimes stops working all together. Once I’m out of the game and reconnected the dongle, it works again.  I have the most recent firmware but I think there may be another issue. I don’t want to keep reconnecting the dongle every time it lags or stops working.
