orochi v2 not working

I am using Orochi v2 and suddenly in the evening it stops moving and the mouse pointer moves up 1 pixel to the left diagonally. What could be the problem? I have uninstalled and reinstalled Synapse, changed the battery, unplugged and replugged the dongle, turned it off and on, cleaned the sensor but it still does not move and moves by itself. When I connect another mouse to the computer it works fine.

I am on the same boat with you, let's get a few things down.

  1. does the mouse connect to your computer, if it's not fully connected even the scrolling or buttons will be unresponsive.
  2. Can you see if it's a software issue by connecting it to an other device, even a phone with a type c converter or bluetooth should work.

If it works for the above you might have the same issue is mine. Can you look at the sensor through your phone's camera to see if it lights up. Phones can capture the invisible IR light, you can check a working IR remote, like AC or TV remotes, or if your phone has IR light for face detection then the front camera surely captures it.


if all 3 are checked open it up to clean it from the inside, it's not that hard to get in this thing, you don't need to unplug anything either, just put the top part on the side and pick up any dust or hair that might be getting in the way of the sensor.
